Like i said, another "full frontal" coming... it will vanish before we even notice it.

But Full Frontal was experimental all the way through, it was suppose to be quirky and didn't even really have a story. This does, a story I personally think is very interesting and has potential. I just hope it pulls through.

i like the sound of this movie, but i'll be more relaxed about it only when julia will start filming another movie as main character (knitting club, joan root, eatpraylove....) because now this and cww is all we have and they have to be good if she wants her carreer back...but if the other 4/5 rumored projects will be realized in the next 3 years, who cares if fireflies is disappointing, after all it's just a supp role...

I could be wrong about this, but i dont think the rights of "Fireflies" will sold out in Europe with buyers knowing Julia's role is not important in the movie.
Anyway, i rather see Julia in ten minutes of wonderful instead of an infinite time of nothing special.

this is a good point, julia is surely the main reason the movie has already been bought by european distributors, so her role can't be too invisible.

Yes, Julia's name can sell a movie. Maybe that's why she agree on participate, to help selling a small budget production that without her in the cast would probably end being showed in a independent movie festival or limited release. And there's nothing wrong with that, let me add...
What i don't understand is why everyone has always to defend or like ALL projects / decisions that julia makes. I like her, but i don't always have to agree with her choices. And i have the feeling that this is one of these cases. Just wanted to clarify this.
When i give my opinions in the forums it's not to "get down" a project or Julia... If we all agreed in everything this forum would be so boring...

I'd rather see her do this then "Friday Night Knitting Club." I keep hoping that that movie falls far away into the black hole.
The biggest question mark to me is Ryan Renyolds (not the director or the size of her role). It's not the length of time your onscreen that matters. It's what one is able to do in that time.
I'd like to see a March/April release in the US (because the first two months of the year are never good months to release a film).
And she had the smart sense to stay away from Ocean's Thirteen. Thank God for that.

exactly!!!
I don´t think she has a very good hand at choosing projects to begin with. but on top of this, she should not let personal feelings guide this already unlucky hand. America´s Sweethearts, anyone?

Aren't you just happy to see Julia back on screen after 3 years???
why the hell is everybody claiming about Julias new films, CWW and FITG? No one of us has seen those movies yet, we just know the plot and the cast. No trailers, no huge buzz yet. I like it that Julia is trying out new experiments. it would be rather boring if Julia would only do romcoms or erin brockovich movies. I can't wait to see her again. And I think we should be thankful that Julia still makes movies.
and as Mark said, everybody is excited about the damn oceans and everybody is sick and tired about Julia's movies. that sucks!
