Julia to guest starring on 'Glee'?

In even more "Glee" guest news, the cast was talking with the Dish about the possibility of none other than Ms. Julia Roberts possibly making a guest appearance on their now-Globes-and-SAG-Award-winning show! Series creator Ryan Murphy just directed Julia in the big screen adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's "Eat Pray Love." Matt Morrison seemed to think it was a definite likely possibility. But Cory Monteith joked to me that the show, "isn't 'The Love Boat.'" But the real clincher of confirmations came from both Lea Michele and Jane Lynch. Lea told the Dish that Julia came up to Ryan's table at the Golden Globes, and was pitching him ideas and said, "Ryan, I think I need to be on your show!" Then Jane confirmed the story. So there you have it folks, the idea came from Julia's mouth herself!

i've heard jennifer lopez is doing a cameo. it would be cool if julia did it, the show is very popular among young people and julia needs to refresh her image since her fan base is older.

what do you think of the show itself? i've seen only two episode so far, it's cute but i'm not crazy about it.

i have not seen an episode of the show. but i'm interested in it. i wonder if julia would be a fit though. she cannot freakin sing. maybe she can guest star as someone who can't sing. haha. a teacher who can't sing. and learns how to through the magic of lip synching. haha

the coolest character is sue silvester, the middle-aged bitchy leader of cheerleaders: julia could play like her lesbian lover or something crazy like that, not implying a singing performance.

I LOVE Glee, but then again, I'm a sucker for musicals, so I would love it if Julia came on. The idea of her playeing Sue's lover is hilarious.

no, she strongly denied it at the VD press junket.
the rumor is up again just because the glee creators just did a press conference giving some spoilers about the new episodes and asked about julia murphy said she loves the show and could possibly guest star in it: but i think he did so that the press talked even more about the show...

I think EPL could benefit greatly from the growing popularity of Glee. A lot of cast member will definitely tweet about it when the film come out, and will probably show up at the premiere.

javier bardem was just announced as a new guest star in the next season. i think this rules out julia.

Lea said in a small inteview in July Uk Glamour that Julia came to Glee cast table at the Globes and told them that she likes their show

Okay guys, maybe this is not totally over yet. I just saw that the Glee Page on Facebook has a Poll where you can vote who should guest star next on Glee. Julia is listed there. So everybody, GO VOTE! (I assume that you have to "Like" the page in order to vote, but I'm not sure). Currently is doesn't look very good. Julia got a little more then 1000 votes (4%), whereas Bette Midler has 4500 (16%). Who the heck is that, btw?
Also there is a Page called "We want Julia Roberts on Glee". Go ahead and "like" that, too!
